Your discussion early on about needing a new way of learning, along with your quote from Sarah Blattner, creator of the Tamritz course, that “Learning happens beyond the school calendar, beyond the classroom walls and with all sorts of people, including teachers, experts in the field, mentors, counselors, coaches and peers” really resonated with me. As we discussed as a cohort this week, the focus on grades sometimes skews our ability to teach and support students as lifelong learners. Your enthusiasm and experience in using digital badging as a response to this was exciting to me. I also thought your inclusion of peer feedback was great!

Cooperative learning and shared resourcing as we navigate how to implement ISTE components in our own context. Thanks for bring in so many points of advice and encouragement/concern to your post. It really provides the reader with an excellent foundation to learn how we, as educators, need to work together, share ideas, and bounce concepts off of each other–regardless of our grade-level expertise.
