I appreciate the visual of the “fine line” between expert and judge; it is a delicate balance between those roles. I like how you created and explained the cyclical relationship between a coach and their peer. Building on an individual’s strengths is so important as Marston stated, “The relationship simply allows both teachers to recognize those individual traits and are provided with a “safety net” that allows both teachers to “take risks in [their] instruction” (Marston, n.d.). This is what peer coaching is all about, building trust in a peer coaching relationship. As you reiterated there is no expert , but just coaches and teachers collaborating together to improve their teaching and students’ learning. Wonderful job, Becky!
