I find it really fascinating that those who participate in this practice “Practiced new strategies more often and with greater skill than uncoached educators with identical initial training.” It is such a profound notion, but it makes sense. When we have support for risk-taking, we are more likely to engage in it and feel comfortable with failures and successes. I also couldn’t agree more with your sentiment that “This course was a great reminder that small steps make the biggest difference.” I think it is helpful to remember this lesson in other facets of our leadership work. This is a great review of where you’ve come from and where you’re headed. Thanks for sharing your insights!
